Something Positive

Every time someone mentions that Alanis's song misuses the word ironic and that there is actually no irony in the song, I like to point out that her misuse is in and of itself ironic. Then I punch them in the balls and tell them to blog about it.

6/10/2002 3:11 PM, the long-awaited Comic 18 is finally up! ...O, so it's fairly unimpressive and tool me all of a few minutes, but hey, I had to go looking through Alanis Morisette fanpages for pictures, and I'm a little suicidal right now. Anyway, the story behind this particular comic is that I went to Boston a while ago and was at an arcade and Shinji was there and so was Mike Springfield from Giant Vat and multiple games of Skeeball ensued, where Shinji somehow found a way of getting a few balls in the 100 hole every game, and the explination of God being there can be found within the movie Dogma, which you all should have seen anyway. And there was this crazy whack-a-mole thing where you'd hit this TV screen with a mallet and it'd be like a real game of Whack-a-mole, but that's really another story. Wait, no it isn't. Well, I updated, and who cares why I did, it's just important that it happened, right? Right?

Ok, you may have noticed that along with the server change (AGAIN), some things have changed with the layout. I pretty much made a nifty PHP script that checks the comics dir automatically and puts stuff where it belongs. It's sweet.

The next comic should be getting back to actually being funny. I'll also put a bunch of the older user-submitted comics up on Monday, so expect something from me by then. If you want your comic up in that section when the time is right, send 'em over to me. JPG or PNG format only, if you can. (I'm sure as hell not gonna reject a comic if you can't save it into one of those formats, so don't sweat it. :P )
